AZTECH CDA-268-01A AT-BUS WIN'95 DRIVER
FOR AZT-2316/A SOUND CARD FAMILY
BETA RELEASE NOTE
=======================================
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Copy ATBUS.INF and AZTMINIP.MPD to a blank diskette labeled as "AT-Bus CD-ROM
Win'95 Driver".
2. From Windows '95 Desktop, go to Control panel and double click at
the ADD NEW HARDWARE icon.
3. At the ADD NEW HARDWARE dialog box, click at NEXT button.
4. When Windows '95 ask whether to search for New Hardware, choose "No" and click the
NEXT button.
5. From the list of hardware displayed, select "CDROM Controllers" and click
NEXT button.
6. From the dialog box, choose HAVE DISK. Insert the disk labeled 'AT-Bus
CD-ROM Win'95 Driver" and type A: to specify path for new driver, then
click the OK button.
7. You will be prompted whether to install "AZTECH CDROM Controller", so simply
click the NEXT button and Windows will copy the drivers automatically.
8. After Windows '95 copied the necessary drivers, click FINISH button and you
will be prompted to Shut down and Restart Windows 95.
NOTE : Please be patient during booting up as it will take some time to initialize
the CDROM drive and boot-up to Windows 95.
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES :
How to change CDROM I/O address to match your sound card ?
1. If you know the CD-ROM I/O address of your sound card or AT-Bus CD-ROM interface,
you can manually edit the ATBUS.INF file, before installation :
Example :
[AZTA200_Device.FactDef]
IOConfig=340-343
2. If you had installed the driver and wish to change CD-ROM I/O address, simply
follow the steps below :
1. From the Control Panel and choose SYSTEM icon.
2. From the SYSTEM menu, click the DEVICE MANAGER Tab.
3. Choose AZTECH CDROM Controller.
4. From the dialog box, click at Properties and change to the desired
CD-ROM I/O address.
